Caroline Smith, an Atlanta native, possesses an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University in Charlotte, NC, coupled with a BA in English Literature from Pacific Lutheran University. During her time at PLU, a passion for editing and storytelling ignited within her. With a keen eye for detail, she has successfully edited over 500 manuscripts, contributing to the accolade of winning an IBPA Gold Ben Franklin Award for excellence in editorial and design alongside one of her esteemed authors.

Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer of Tandem Light Press, Caroline thrives on both organizational leadership and individual client interactions. Beyond her editorial prowess, she is a prolific author with two non-fiction works, a compelling piece of fiction, and a captivating short story collection to her name. Moreover, she extends her expertise to the literary community through her podcast, "Inspiration to Publication," catering to aspiring writers and authors.

In her diverse pursuits, Caroline finds solace in the world of romance novels and dark fantasy when not engrossed in writing or editing. Her interests extend to creating workshops on meditation and natural wellness, dedicated study for yoga teacher training, and fostering dreams of a life in Scotland. Residing on a quaint farm in North Georgia, she shares her home with three vibrant children and a delightful menagerie of animals.
