The Dahlonega Literary Festival
Celebrating the power of storytelling in a small-town setting
The Dahlonega Literary Festival takes place on March 7, 2026. The historic Holly Theatre in Dahlonega will host a full day of panels and presentations by literary favorites—both old and new. We'll have 17 authors this year over six sessions . There are no concurrent sessions, and lunch is on your own in downtown Dahlonega.
The schedule for the festival is now available!
Our Headliner will be Joshilyn Jackson; the fee for that session will include a signed hardback book. All other sessions will be free.
Also, there will be a free Thursday, March 5, event--Stacia Pelletier will be giving a presentation at noon in the Mike Cottrell Center Ballroom (room 172) at the University of North Georgia (click here for map). There will be parking available for the public at the Continuing Education Center across the street (the sign out front says "Evergreen Learning"). They will be selling the book at the event, and she will sign copies after her presentation.
Thank you to our sponsors for the Dahlonega Literary Festival!
