A Pulitzer Prize-winning writer, journalist and author, Bragg has written twelve books, including two best-selling memoirs, Ava’s Man and All Over but the Shouting. The acclaimed biography, Jerry Lee Lewis: His Own Story, tells the story of the American music legend, a giant in early rock and roll and in country music.  During his career, Bragg has worked for numerous newspapers, including The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and St. Petersburg Times.  He taught writing at Harvard University, the Poynter Institute for Media Studies, Boston University, and others.​
